I've been following the conversation, but I didn't see the pics of the stored stuff until tonight. Wonder if this explains why there has been something of a glut of old FSI kits hitting Ebay lately?

Acquiring the required permits for black powder motor manufacture is a long, tedious and very expensive process from what I understand. You can't just open a business and expect to start production in a month. More like 2-3 years, if you have made all of the necessary capital investment.

Who owned all of this stuff all of these years? Seems strange that this lot just sat there? Good for a model rocketry article in Sport Rocketry.....

sounds like it was still in the Reese family, but they had to move it out of where it was originally (the old Nike installation).

I don't usually respond to GH on his "hystrionics" but I have special information that Aerotech and TRA/NAR in fact have the evidence to make this so in actual reality.

Does not bother me one whit that Aerotech has done so in actual reality if that is true.
Permits are often legally required by useless nuisance gubmint agencies for a plethora of things where they should not need be in the name of mamby-pamby safety.
