FH on Pad 39A! (links)
Hello All,
SpaceX has raised--and lowered--the first Falcon Heavy (FH) rocket at Launch Complex 39A at Cape Canaveral! The exercise was conducted for vehicle/pad hardware fit-checking and strongback testing. Below are links to photographs and videos of the event (plus pictures of its unusual payload being prepared): FH on the pad (photos): http://spaceflightnow.com/2017/12/2...for-first-time/ FH being raised (time-lapse video): http://spaceflightnow.com/2017/12/2...-goes-vertical/ FH being lowered, at night (time-lapse video): http://spaceflightnow.com/2017/12/2...unch-pad-debut/ FH's Tesla car payload being prepped for payload fairing encapsulation (photos): http://spaceflightnow.com/2017/12/2...-to-deep-space/ I hope this material will be useful (including for scale documentation).
