Default Der Red Max Diorama

Just a quick question; Does anyone have information on that cool diorama that was pictured in the original instructions for Estes' Der Red Max? Curious as to who built it. You just don't see many model rockets incorporated into dioramas (for obvious reasons). Would love to see more model rocket type dioramas!

I talked to the old Estes Photographer Randy Keller (who did an great job on the Starlight Gen 2
photos). He still (as of 5 years ago) has the space and lunar back drops. We talked a bit about using something like that for a future Starlight Catalog but decided agenst it in case Estes would have an issue with me using it.

I'd like to see that sometime soon.

Is it in any of the catalogs?

Kind of hard to see it clearly but it's on JimZ's site on the first page of Der Red Max instructions.

I've seen pics of several recreations. The most recent I can think of was done by an infamous micro motor fan who posts micro size pictures of micro sized rockets. IIRC, it was a micro diorama.

Give a man a rocket and he will fly for a day; teach him to build and he will spend the rest of his days sanding...
