Default Fantastic!

Thanks Greg,

Saved me the trouble and I can enlarge it to whatever BT size.
Thank you for your hard work and for sharing.

I just put one together. The cockpit seemed to work better with the front tab cut off though.

And, I pulled it up in Illustrator and pre-colored it...

Can you get us a picture of the completed nose cone? I always like to see what others can make of my designs.

Nice! Have you coated it with anything or is it straight cardstock? I find that if you saturate the cardstock with thin CA, then sand smooth, you will get a finish at least as good as the plastic nose cones. If you do, though, be sure to use plenty of ventilation - the fumes from the CA will not do your eyes and nose any good!

Default Good idea.

Good idea Greg.
I'll try that.
And yes, I know all about CA. Been useing it for over thirty years building R/C planes.
Thank you for the tip and the N/C

Default Super glue

I spread thin super glue on the NC. It does not seem much stronger but it is waterproof.
Now some sanding! Oh tbzep, where are you when I need you?

It won't need much sanding - I use a fine and extra fine on it to make it really smooth. Once you've done that, it'll paint just like plastic.
