Default Favorite Rockets of our hobby founders

At this year's NARCON there was a truly wonderful panel discussion with some of the founders of our hobby. I got to ask them what their favorite rockets were and I thought you might have fun trying to guess what they answered.

For any who might not know, Lee and Betty Piester were the founders of Centuri. Gleda and Vern Estes founded Estes rockets. Betty Estes, their daughter, was a test builder for a number of the early designs. Bill Simon was one of Estes best designers. Bill Stine, son of G. Harry, has worked for a number of the major rocketry companies and is the current owner of Quest Rocketry.

Give it your best shot.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Lee Piester: Saturn V (the real one)
Betty Piester: Saturn V (the real one)
Vern Estes: Saturn V (the real one)
Gleda Estes: Saturn V (the real one)
Betty Estes: Pink Big Bertha
Bill Simon: Saturn V (the real one)
Bill Stine: Any sounding rocket G. H. S. had a hand in

In all seriousness to the question, I would go along with Scott's choices, especially since I've never rubbed elbows with any of these fine folks and only know (and forgotten) what I've read about them.
