Germantown Pizza over in Kenton County used to have a saurkraut pizza. I haven't had it, yet, but I think of how much you'd enjoy it every time I drive past.

Okay, Bill, let me amend that.

Barbeque sauce on pizza is fine, as long as it's *not* on 4 out of every 5 pizzas you're serving.

The garlic sauce wasn't too bad, though. However, your mileage may vary.

Photos #1 and 2: Spare rocket parts (our nose cones are from airplane fuel "tip tanks") being transported to our "storage" shop.

Photos #3 and 4: Skycycle #1 of 3 goes to the paint shop. Scott Truax and Rodger Gaddy pose in the first of these two photos. The last photo in this series shows the Skycycle up on the painting "rotisserie."

Photos #1 and 2 show riveting and Cleco fasteners on Skycycle #2 of 3. The preliminary parachute compartment is to the left in the background of picture #1.

Photos #3 through 5 are of Skycycle #1 after its visit to the paint shop. Right now the assembly includes the ****pit, the (steam) tank section, and the wheel section.

Talking Super Van!

What a difference a month makes! Photo #1 shows Scott Truax with our former American Linen van on May 20, 2014. I got to remove all of the green vinyl stripes, as well as all of the external lighting fixtures minus the headlights and taillights.

Picture #2 shows our "Super Van" after fresh paint and white vinyl stars.

Today my buddy Lucas Tracy (who's usually on the other end of the rivets I'm taking care of) and I applied blue styrofoam insulation on the van's inside walls. Scott Truax is seen applying the first two pieces of extra-thick plywood, in preparation for mounting our high-tech monitoring equipment, as you see in photos 3 through 5.

I would so fly in that. The SkyCycle, not the van.

Default Popular Science, October 2014

Last month we had a freelance writer for Popular Science magazine come out to do an article on us, which is scheduled to appear in the October 2014 issue, which should go on sale in late September.

Talking Skycycle photos -- June and July 2014

We've been *very* busy the last couple of months! Our original planned launch date of September 1, 2014 has been pushed back to late September or early October.

Photo #1 shows Scott Truax with "big and little" Skycycles.

#2 is Scott and I "riveting our brains out" on one of the rear wheel sections.

#3 shows Skycycle #1 with the Idaho and USA flags.

In #4, Scott Truax asks, "Eddie [Braun] has three rockets. Is that fair when so many others are going rocketless?"

And #5 has an alternate view of Scott and Skycycle #1.

Talking Skycycle photos -- August 2014

Photos #1 and 2 show the parachute section. The first one has sprouted Cleco fasteners, and the second one is a closeup minus the parachute canisters.

In picture #3, 75 year old Ky "Rocketman" Michaelson and his 14 year old son Buddy Rocketman Michaelson (yes, "Rocketman" *is* his real middle name!) came out from Minnesota to catch up on our progress.

I captioned #4, "Buddy came, he saw, we put him to work!' Buddy and Scott Truax are riveting the parachute section.

Default Skycycle ramp photos -- August 2014

The launch ramp officially went up Monday and Tuesday, August 11 and 12, 2014. It's 100 feet long, and roughly 90 feet long. It's inclined at a 56 degree angle.

it's a temporary structure, since otherwise it would be an "attractive nuisance." (frowning)

Here's the first batch of photos, starting with the concrete footings, which will be the only evidence left there when we're done.
