It is BT-60 sized, a 1.68x upscale. To get the glider close to scale, I used BT-52 for it and turned my own nose cone. Since this picture was taken I've substituted a scale balsa nose cone for the plastic one. Cutting all the fins out of basswood was very fun.

I'd like to see that big one fly for sure.
I always use the excel saws on basswood, makes life a lot easier. |
