Default Maxi Mini Max

I had a spare sitting around because I bought a second kit to replace the lost decals from my first kit. (Well, my second kit. The first one is hanging in a tree at B6-4 Field.) I found the missing decals, so I came up with a different kind of Max. I flipped the fins around, painted it hot pink, and added lots of nose weight in the plastic cone to counteract the 24mm engine I plan to launch it on.

Hey Bill, call it by-by for short.

You are going to need a G80-13 field to get that one back.

Maybe not. If she flies straight and true (all of Bill's rockets do, don't they?), she'll come down on the streamer, pretty much straight down.

At least it'll be the right color for high altitude tracking...

Plenty of eyes may be needed!

I launched a Custom Venture on a C11-7 at VOA a few years back. It was an impressive flight and I saw the whole thing, including the landing. It was a long walk over to where it had landed, and when I got there it had walked off, something which still pi$$es me off to this day. I think I stand a decent chance of recovering a C11 flight if the weather is calm, but we don't get a lot of calm at the cornfield.

Nice! I love that color on the cone. What is it? Metallic charcoal?

Rustoleum Black Night Metallic. I used it on the Mega Max cone as well.

I put a Goblin on a D12-7 down with a streamer on my "B6-4" field last Thursday so it can be done ... My Long Tom on a B6-0 / B6-6 not so lucky
