Default V-32

Has anyone heard of the V-32?

I came across an artilce in the July 1970 issue of American Aircraft Modeler. On pages 32 - 33 are the plans for building this unique rocket. It looks like a conventional V2, yet, has 32 very small fins around the bottom.

The designer, photographer and author is Melville Grant Boyd.

I will try to get someone (Scott) to post this.

Someone did a build thread over on TRF a few years ago. I can't recall exactly, but I don't think it did well.

I found this one in the TRF archive HERE, no flights were reported so we dunno if it was flown or not.

I think that he worked for Centuri , but, he didn't go by Melville, just Grant Boyd. I know I have seen his name on literature, pretty sure it was Centuri.

Yes Scott, he worked for Centuri... and Enertek in its VERY early stages as I understand.
