Default B6-4 Field, 2015 Opening Day

http://wallyum.blogspot.com/
My first extensive blog post on yesterday's festivities. It's a lot more work than I realized.

That was from the cornfield launch a few weeks back. I just needed a photo subject that I hadn't previously posted. My first post was going to be about the cornfield launch, but I didn't get to it before I flew on Sunday, and by then it was old news. I really just wanted to see if I could get the photo function to work this time. It was the main reason that v.1 and v.2 didn't get any farther than the planning stage. I think I actually tried this for the first time in 2011, so this has been a long time coming.

Yeah, I flew it last month on an E9-4. I wanted to fly it a second time, but it was too muddy after the first cornfield landing and I didn't have cleaning supplies. Hoping for less slop the next time, but I'll make do whatever the case.

Was the E9-4 okay or would an E9-6 or E12-6 be a better delay ?
I think I flew mine once on the E9-4 and it seemed like the delay was short of optimum...I recall the nose was NOT pointed down at ejection.

I WISH that I could get launch pics anywhere near as good as Bill's.
Would really like an Athena launch pic. Mine were all blurry.
