Stability is HIGHLY over-rated.
Cut that thing off just long enough to house the engine and a chute and watch the "antix" ! I'm sure it would be a much more memorable flight. They should have at least made the thing out of CLEAR plastic which from a 100' away would be at least only minimally visible.

When in doubt, WHACK the GAS and DITCH the brake !!! Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't ! Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY. ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC ! |

Thanks!!! I appreciate the photos of the flight configuration and the flight. Is that stress consequences I see on the starboard nacelle? It doesn't look quite parallel there. |

What happened was during the time I was away from the hobby from 1982 - 2003, it was in storage in a box along with many other models and parts of the model was slightly "bent" out of place. I had to "bend" it back as closely to its' original position as possible. The nacelles are usually very parallel otherwise. I have another Enterprise (and Klingon) still in the bag and hope to get around to building them in the near future. Both are great models, BTW.

Well, you could paint the launch tube blue and it would blend into the sky except on cloudy days... |

LOL I had that same thought! I also thought black with various color speckles to simulate stars, etc. |
