Good video Chad. I think this was the biggest turnout we've ever had at a January Sod Farm launch - Saucers from MicroMaxx to G!

Thanks for posting Chad. It was almost like being there. It looked like a good time was had by all. As usual a number of cool one of a kind rockets or should I say saucers.. The tire Gremlins decided to alter my plans. Instead of launching rockets, I was launching "F" bombs on the side of the road with a flat and a spare I couldn't get off from under by Suburban. Well now I need to see if I can alter plans to get to JC next weekend. I really don't want to wait until Bong.

Here's some additional video.

It was a very good day to get out of the house!

Sorry to hear of the problems Russ, flying saucers are WAY more fun than flat tires! Funny how those things always like to happen right after the holidays, the same happened to me last year.

Default C11 Cato

C11 Cato...argggh! Was that Paul's? Although I couldn't make the trip down on Saturday, I was able to put up a couple. I too suffered a C11 cato....in my freshly finished FSI Oso...figured I'd put a conservative C11 in there for an easy up and down prior to setting it aside for semi-retirement....wrong! CATO 10' up: just like that Snitch boomer, deployed the chute and landed in a power line overhead. AHHHHH.

Anyhow, nice vids, great flights, and hope to see y'all soon!

Paul's it was, (Paul K., that is), I think he bought all of the CATO-prone C11's!
After a FOURTH unsuccessful flight of my Frick N' Frack, the repairs are again complete. I'll try it one more time at JC on Sunday, on a 3/16" rod this time. If it doesn't work this time it goes into the burn barrel!

I bought a boatload of C11s before they went back into production, and a bunch all have a 2001 date code. Most of them with that date code exhibit the really fun behavior, great for saucers! Gotta love watching flying chunks of burning BP.
