Question Centuri "Photon Probe" (2) at PVHC (eBay)

Boy, I wouldn't mind snagging this Centuri Photon Probe, but I haven't got $86 to spare, since I blew all my Labor Day overtime money at Semroc, Sirius Rocketry (shouts out to David J. Miller!), and Aerospace Specialty Products (way to go, Andy!).

Do the folks at Semroc have one of these hiding in the back room? As far as I know, there aren't any definitive parts lists available for this one online.

Heavy sigh,

[Dear Moderator:

It was just an expression. Of artistic license. Or overwrought emotions. It's hard to say which. Either way, I'm sorry.]

(Carl e-mailed me and says he has a Photon Probe courtesy of Pete Deever in his possession. So I just saved 86 bucks I can spend at Carl's website instead. When I get my hands on some Real Cash Money, that is.)

Nearly drowning in a flood of excessive something-or-other,

Just build your own. Except for the NC and the transition up to it (and the paint job, of course) this is an exact downscale.

I bought some extra large balsa transitions and boat tails from Scale Kits when they were around and an upscale Photon Probe was one of the ideas I had for a couple. IIRC they are bored out for a 24mm motor tube and fit the heavy wall LOC BT-2.14 tubing

I just don't see the resemblence. I think that yours is an Estes Photon Probe not a Centuri.

Just keep hanging around. There's a lot more where *that* came from.

Cheers,
