Default Shear pins

So, I have the Hyperloc 835. It's dual deploy. Do you recommend using shear pins on this model? If so, where is a good website to school me on it?

Thanks!

Shear pins are pretty much a requirement for dual deplyment. Otherwise, your main parachute is likely to deploy at apogee.

Here are some good tutorials I found which cover using shear pins:

One thing they don't emphasize enough, though, is that you need to ground test your recovery system - both the drogue charge and the main charge - to demonstrate that things work as expected.
