Talked to Doug Pratt this morning. He is going to look for what he has in pictures and try to find some. We both agreed that we need to chronicle what we can about the Reese family and Flight Systems for their friends and the hobby. Between the both of us we could do pretty good covering 74- 86. More to come.

Let's further clarify that by saying it was Scott McCrate, not Scott Hansen. Well, Weiss beers are milky and some appear to have some solids. Scooter definitely was not supplying Weiss beer though.

Digging around over weekend found some stuff at my dads i had forgotten about. Found my Javelin, either the second or third prototype built. Can't remember if Lonnie and Larry built one or two of them first. Found a big LTV Scout that never went into production. A Mach 1 thruster/Dart not finished, couple Wasp nose cones, FSI streamer pack(still in bag), half put together Black Brant II, the nose cone from my International modelers show Black Brant II(the 1 or 2 E60's that I had cato), fins from Megaforce buggy rockets, and a special one Lonnie built that was 3 1.13 tubes into a 2.25 tube 3 F100 monster. This thing had the coolest nose cone. A square wooden block inside a semi clear resin nose cone. Oh more thing, Lonnie was talking to someone in the US Forestry service(I think) about a system for avalanche control. They were wanting to get away from small howitzer shells they were using. Lonnie had come up with a idea for using a small sonar unit to detonate above the pack. Found the prototype shoulder launcher I was building. If memory serves me correctly, they(US) ran out of money so it never came about.

Also found original Mars lander(intact but time distorted) and a pair of Estes Pegasus mini motor rockets. Found a tin can full of misc, motors. Couple D13's dated July of 71 and a few unlabeled 18MM motors. I am not sure what the deal is there. Also found out just what a shelf life Super Jet and baking soda had....................................
