Actually what I meant was the the Excelsior set for the BT-55 Honest John (1919) would probably be closer to scale than those featured on the LP site. You can even use the airframe spec stencil on the model without too much pain. Just grab a sheet of Microscale 1/8" white stripes - do not try and cut decal film that thin. The edges will crack like crazy. Or you could use Trimkote from monokote/TopFlite.
