Enerjet Nike-Ram Clone
This has tempted me for years...it seems simple enough to do, and i think it would be the right size for the Quest D motors \, ie: be recoverable...any ideas? anyone cloned, flew original or bought the canadian re issue?

Enerjet was owned by Centuri so I guess both companies got the idea at the same time. The early production runs of the first series of AeroTech kits included a metal serial number plate. Bob |

A notice about the 'spec-plate' appeared in the 1973 Centuri catalog. Enerjet, when Irv Wait owned it, did not feature spec-plates. A quick glance of the 1972 Enerjet catalog has no reference to spec-plates even though Enerjet kits came with them.
The AeroTech kit serial number plate was the idea of Scott Pearce at AeroTech. The Enertek kits would not have included this item. As it was, the serial number plates for the AeroTech kits were kind of pricey, even in quantity. I believe they costs fifteen cents each in quantities of 2500-5000. Bob |

Surprisingly enough I have not doen a Nike-Ram clone yet. As for the 'cadanian reissue' - assume you mean ARG's bird ... although I have not seen his Nike Ram spec'd kit, I have a couple others and can say the quality is TOP RATE and the prices are nice, too. Will be following along here, so post build pics ~ AL |
