Default Titan 3E information needed?

Hi to all of you out there.

I have gotten a set of plans of the Titan3E from JimZ

I also found a listing of what body tubes was used in that plan but i do not remember where i saw it at if anyone also may know where that is i would love to find that web site again!

The lisitng as i copied show the Titan 3E as follows just the body tubes:

Bt-70 - 6.25"Long
Bt-60 - 13.313" Long
Bt-60 - 10.375" Long (2)
Bt-50J - 2.75" Long
Bt-50S - 4.00" Long (2)
Bt-5 - 3.74" Long (2)
Bt - 950 - 6.25" Long (2) ?????

I have narrowed down the BT-950 Semroc has it as something else(st-9180) and the ID and OD are the same so i shal see how this goes.

I have not ordered any of the tubes till i was done doing my research and if there is anyone who knows which is the right or wrong ones for this build i would love to hear from you. I am using the Titan 3E Kit #2019 for my reference from JimZ plans they are a tiff set of plans not a PDF file so im hoping for a close realization for shroud and fins marking guides and for fins drawings to make my parts.
I know i can never get the display parts made from plastic so that part is out but the toughest part right now is finding the:

payload nose cone and adapter
booster nose cones and nozzles
Catalyst tank nose cones and tail cones

I have some guesses on what i can use as replacments for them but these are just guesses for now. if anyone has built this from scratch i am open to ideas. It is a shame that Estes did not continue to list parts as time went on for future reference for us rebuilders!

Once i have the Body tubes in hand then i will have to order the die cut centering rings!

Well Thank You for letting me place this out there and i hope you all have a Happy New Year

Mike

Not sure what web site you misplaced. So here's some of the important ones.

JimZ's main site

http://www.spacemodeling.org/JimZ/index.htm

JimZ's Titan II E

http://www.spacemodeling.org/JimZ/est2019.htm

Ninfinger's for tube sizes

http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/body_tubes.html

SEMROC for tubes

http://www.semroc.com/Store/Scripts/default.asp

And way down below in my signature is me for decals.

I also have all of the plastic parts including the engine nozzles so I can duplicate them.

Now there are 8 plastic parts not including the two main engine bells so that is a lot of parts, they're not very big but there are a lot of them and a lot of work so they won't be cheap.

But I can do it.

You can get the payload nosecone and transition direct from Estes as part of the TARC large parts assortment. You will also get enough BT-70, BT-60 and BT-50 in that pack to make a Titan IIIE.

All for $25.

OK, just to throw a monkey wrench into things...I also make (and have in stock) a different nose cone for the Titan III.

If you want to build both, just get more parts.

The X-20 nose cone is on my web site in the Roachwerks Custom Machining kits section. It includes decals.

If you want to work up a display engine for the Titan get in touch with Real Space models and see if Glenn is willing to part with a set of bells and thrust structure from the 1/72 Titan. He may also have the skirt up his sleeve.
