Estes Phoenix #1380 Fin Patterns
I am looking for the correct size fin pattern for the Estes Pheonix Rocket. I downloaded the plans from all over but none seem to fit the pattern size for the beveling. The fins are all too short. I already cut four out not knowing any better, and the bevel guide is too long! So if anyone has the correct size pattern I can print, or measurements I can use to draw them I would appreciate it. Absent the original, the Jimz plans are about the best route forward. Printing the pdf native from the website with no scaling the 1" mark comes out correct (assuming that the one inch mark is accurate to begin with) and gives a leading edge span of 11/16th. The scan of the marking template printed (again native) provides the same measurement of the leading edge. This also provides the correct length of the swept edge of the fin - 9 5/8th. The root chord comes at 9 1/2, while the TE seems to be 2 3/8th. Using these templates sets the bevel on the forward fin at 1 1/8th aft of the LE and 3/16th in from the swept edge.
You may need to make sure that the print properties are not set to shrink to fit.

It's probably overkill, but I traced this from an actual kit. The 1" square is for scaling.
