Wanna know how I measure it?
All I can say is that my nose cone rebound issues have disappeared since I started adding the extra cord. I'll take that, especially considering the low cost of the Kevlar and sewing elastic. Looks cool on the way down, too.

Thank you both for the advice. The little one packed the wadding on the last flight.......I'm not allowed too! We'll try it again soon.

I looked at some websites yesterday that displayed some serious rocket photography! I never knew......WOW
