It's actually a DynaStar kit, your other new one is a PML kit.

In the words of Outland's Bill D. Cat: Aaakkk...

So much for being creative with names...

I had forgotten the Dyna-Star design. Don't recall seeing the PML model, though. Sigh...

Oh, well... Even Estes ran out of original names once or twice...

The PML Pterodactyl? It even comes in two sizes. Pretty cool kit, night and day difference from your design, quite obvious that there's no connection.

Right, but DynaStar is still an Apogee brand, right? It's not really another vendor, just a "sub-brand", if you will, of Apogee, isn't it?

Sorry if I'm being defensive It's one of those engineer things. When I first heard of DynaStar and learned about them, my brain automatically did a data reduction on the brand and filed it under Apogee (Us old farts are always trying to save memory. I can remember when 1 kilobit was state of the art )

I remember hearing the other Bill saying "no one will ever need more than 64KB"...

A few of the latest motherboards are capable of 64GB...

You can't save what you ain't got...

Is it? I don't know. I just assumed different name=different company.
