Default Dynasoar Rocketry RC rocket glider kits

www.dynasoarrocketry.com

Kits available are the Hypersonic III, Daedalus, Stratodart 2 and Orbital Shuttle. Pieces are hand fit and checked, many steps are pre-done, spars slotted/and/or installed, elevons hinged, horns installed, rocket mount completed, pieces taped for easy alignment after removal from the box.

The site above has links that show the step by step photos of how they go together as well as having the instructions and videos of them flying.

Altitudes around 500 feet on a 24mm E-6 rocket motor, flight times typically around a minute or more

I've seen Frank's rocket gliders fly and can testify as to their majestical-ness.

There might be a video of one in flight in this set. I can't play videos at work to check:

I don't know what kind of learning curve is involved in flying them, but they perform magnificently.

Very nice!
I built a Depron F14 with twin ducted fans about a million years ago, that thing was insanely light even tho it was full bodied(not profile)

Hi,

A couple of questions:

First, are these the same kits that were at NARCON in Seattle?

Second, with Sticker Shock currently not printing is there another alternative for the decals?

That was me at narcon, I didn't have kits at the time, I was talked into doing them by Bob Parks among others...But I gave the talk on rocket gliders.

I have two sets of vinyl from stickershock left for the interceptor.

For my original markings, I use a combination of:

1)self adhesive monokote trim just cut to shape
2)Sig stars and bars from sig mfg
3)Vinyl Lettering from office depot, etc
4)Panel lines with silver or black sharpie
5)paint

For the blackbird, I just printed out a skunk logo on paper, sprayed it with flat krylon clear then attached it using 3m-77 spray contact cement.

Is there anyone doing vinyl-stickies cutting?

I need to have something done to use as stencils for a glass-etching project. I could conceivably use Contact paper and an exacto knife but if someone could do this design properly I'd pay for it.

So, like, what do I have to do to order one of these (and more importantly, pay you)?????

Now that I'm nearing 50 kits sold since I started in March, I broke down and made an official web site with paypal payment buttons, links to the instructions for the 3 kits and a video of them flying.
