Can't say yet. My order hasn't arrived. When it does and I've had a chance to play with it, I'll post some feedback.

I got the wings, and rudders prep for the wraps.
I cover all my rocket fins with Avery 8.5 x 11 shipping labels.
The wings and rudder wraps weren’t that hard to do. Let me say again, have a lot of sharp blades handy. There is a lot of cutting to do. The hardest thing is lining the wraps up properly on the wings and large tail rudders. There is one area where you put one wrap on, lay the next wrap down and go back to the first wrap and over lap a portion of the first wrap on the second wrap. Did you get That? Read the instruction carefully as you go. Now that I have done these wraps, I have a lot more confidence to do my Interceptor Es later on. To me if I was rating the wraps I would say 2 ½ to a 3 skills level.

With all I have said above, I wish there was more of these types of wraps available for more rockets. I would rather do wrap than painting. You can get a lot more detail. You don't have to wait for the weather to be just right, and you don't have to have a paint booth.

SHROX, wraps are right up your alley. You should give it a try. I think you would be great at it.

Now, I am on to my next project. Hope this thread has helped out some.

I have a few sheets I want to try.

It's about half the thickness of bumper sticker film.

They have a bunch and I want to look into it since I have a ton of decal files and only one operational Alps printer left.

My order showed up and I did a test wrap on my "Dyna-Soar" Deuce. It's a Fliskits Deuces Wild with your Dyna-Soar nose cone. I had previously wrapped the tube with a Gemini-Titan skin printed on full sheet adhesive labels but had about 6.75" of tube left to cover. I ended up printing out a sheet from a Little Joe II paper model I had and using that.

The vinyl paper worked GREAT! It went on easily with no wrinkles and looks great! I think you're going to love this stuff.

When did you get a Dyna Soar kit from me? I don't remember that. But I don't remember breakfast...

I'm glad you had a chance to try the vinyl (not sure what else to call it).

This stuff just may be a alternative to waterslide.

OH, BTW, where's the pictures?

Either NARAM-49 or the 2007 NSL. Can't remember either (but do remember that I had an omelet for breakfast! )

Here you go. The vinyl wrap is the one at the top of the tube; the others are standard full sheet label paper.

I should have this done in time to fly at the NSL over Memorial Day weekend.

Gordy, are you planning the drive over to Muskegon? I'll be there and I have a couple birds with your custom cones to show ya.

Not sure yet but if I do it will be to fly.

I won't have a booth but I will bring decals.
