Estes Gliders
Estes offered several foam gliders in 2013.
They dropped these in 2014. I'm talking about the Falcon(4011) and Spy(4013) Gliders. I have never seen either in a LHS. How much did they cost? How well do they fly? Are they R/C or free flight. Can they be made into launch-able rocket gliders? Does anyone have these gliders?

I got an Avengers glider (4009) for my younger Boyo. Nice hand toss glider. I see RC conversions of all 3 have been done.
The Avengers glider has a place in the tail that I think is begging for a pair of 13mm motors. |

4011 and 4013 were in both the 2012 and 2013 catalogs. They were both foam free flight gliders. The Falcon was about 20 inches long and had about a 20 inch wingspan. The Spy was about 26 inches long and had about a 26 inch wingspan. Both were available, but both are discontinued. They each had a retail price of $11.

Saw them at a BigLots here too (Los Angeles, California) -- 7 USD
(BTW, you do want to check contents of bag before you purchase -- noticed a few that were broken in the bag due to handling) |
