Default Phoenix Bird

Hi Chas,

Just pulled my original Phoenix Bird out. The nosecone measures at 6.375", overall length comes in at 26.25", lower section measures at 12".

Thank you Mike. I have the correct nose cone and connector plus fin unit to construct the Phoenix Bird. It does measure 6 3/8" and fits the SEMROC ST-13 tube and not a BT-55.

So sorry to hi-jack the thread, but this is working out better than I thought.

Sorry about not responding sooner to your questions.

I used a 1/4" launch rod for my Maxi Aero-Dart. I bought the launch lug tubing from BMS which comes in a 34" length.

Attached are two pictures of the aft end of the model without a motor installed.

Empty weight/mass without motor is 17.8 oz.

I will try to answer any future questions much sooner.
