Default Estes Rouge Voyager Project and question

Starting yet another project. An Estes Rouge Voyager. Pics will follow later.

http://www.estesrockets.com/rockets...rogue-voyagertm

Pretty simple straight forward construction but I did have one question.

The kit has three 'booster' tubes (bt20 I think) that the front edge is cut an an angle. They provide a piece with an ellipse cut in it to mark the angle cut. No problem. Question I have is whats going to be the best way to cut this angle? What about sanding? I worry about leaving ragged fuzzy edges on the BT.

OH and any tips on getting the 'booster' tubes on straight?

Thanks!

slide a motor casing into the end of the tube for the marking/cutting operation, then use a sharp hobby knife. a small amount of ca on the cut edge will keep the dreaded fuzzies to a minimum. Estes suggests marking the 'booster' tubes with the marking guide...extend those lines up into the tubes themselves, this will give you a handier reference to glue them straight. don't over do the glue at this point, a bead 1/16" wide is all you need and will grab fairly fast.

Couldent find any rouge paint oh well I will have to settle for red.

Hit on another way to ensure you get the tubes on straight. Aside from carrying the marking lines the entire length of the tube. Put index marks INSIDE the tubes. Makes lining thing up a lot easier
