You probably want to contact sandman directly. With all his printer problems last year, I'm not sure about new color decals getting printed. I certainly don't want to speak for sandman, and I'm hoping he can print decals. There are a few on his website I'd like to get, but they showed as "out of stock" the last time I checked.

I made a decision...I have no use for it since I retired so I'm selling my pick-up truck.

With the money from the sale of my truck I plan to send two printers to Japan for repair.

With those two operable printers I hope to be able to make all of my decals available again.

Honestly, you guys have to understand this is not a money making proposition for me. I could earn more getting a part time job at MacDonald's or Home Depot and I don't have to sell my truck to do it!

This will take about a month or so so be patient!.

Too late for today's mail but I'll get them out in the morning.

No urgent need to have them quickly. What they go on is still unbuilt.

BTW guys, I have the Estes ECHO and the Estes Astro finished.

Now all I need is a printer to print them.

While much has changed since I posted regarding the Astro decals (with Semroc and [health-wise] with me), I help Marlys House, a teacher in Eagle, Alaska who incorporates model rocketry into her students' STEM classes. Since the Astro--I *think*--uses the same body tube length as the Viking (can anyone here confirm or dis-confirm this?), and because she likes her students to get hands-on experience with things such as cutting out fins, I'm still game to order Astro decals (possibly as many as 20, her usual class size--how many sets are on a sheet?), although I may need to save up a bit (depending on the price; I'll gladly pay the full amount). There's no hurry, as February is *not* model rocket flying season in Alaska (April is when ice and frostbite no longer discourage it).

I can fit 9 or 10 sets to a sheet but I probably can't print them acceptably yet.

Thank you. That's better than I had hoped. (Like most long-time rocket builders, they've developed a "scrap box" of rocket part odds and ends at the school, and being able to "stash" a class' worth of project rocket decals on just 2--or at most, 3--sheets would minimize their clutter! :-) )

I'm hoping some here can help me.

I'm trying to screen print some of the Astro decals and am having an issue with the pdf's involved. The fin size seems extremely large for a 13mm minimum dia. design. and the orange color stripe would wrap around the body tube one and a half times. While this may be the case, I would doubt it.

I would appreciate it if someone who has an Astro could give me a root edge dimension for the fin, if possible. Also, as mentioned above, Blackshire stated that the decals were orange and gray. I have an idea that the gray in the scans was just to show the decal and that the actual color is white. Can anyone confirm this?

Thank you.
