Just measured mine, comes out the same. Thought it looked a tad short.

Sounds like John Boren needs to hear about this.

Maybe he already did and they're now putting a 13" tube in the kits.

Miracles do happen.

Here is my Super Alpha. He's has a 12" BT and a balsa N/C which I have yet to fill and paint.
I call him Daniel Striped Tiger because of Scott, president of MMMSC.

Tonight I tried to do the facecard paint scheme with one white fin, but botched masking at the fin joint, so I said screw it and sprayed the entire bottom red. If I ever build a Maxi Alpha at least they'll match.

Looks great even so, Jonrev, and +5 points for the old school "tin can" blast deflector in the background.

And another 5 points for the cradle using spring clips! That's a great idea. Heck, I'm feeling generous today, make that 10 points ...

Picked up a stash coming home from Canada last year, should last me through this winter before I have to head east, again.

Decknals went on tonight, now it chills for a few weeks. I want to buff the red out a bit with some of my car detailing stuff, too, before sealing it with Future.
