Default New Model Rocket Construction Website - How to Build Model Rockets

Hi Gang,
Update:
December 18, 2011 -
This site was donated to the NAR and is located is now located:
http://www.nar.org/educational-reso...ing-techniques/

I tried to answer many of the questions I had when I got back into the hobby a few years ago. New materials, glues - that sort of thing. There is also two pages on budget rocketry.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Very nice!

Some of your tips are ones I've been doing for many years with great success.

Good work!

Great work.

Although I am by no means a "craftsman", I am getting better. Some of the tips you described are ones with which I am familiar, some are new and several are ones that I "thought I knew" but reading your text and seeing you photos has provided me with a new interpretation, espessialy with the filling.

Thanks. I look forward to trying some as soon as I can get back to work.

Great website! I sometimes get e-mails from model rocketeers in the area (those I haven't met or seen, yet) needing tips and directions on the "how tos" of building model rockets. Now I can just send them a link to your website. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I tried that trick I learned on thsi site about using a razor blade to screed the excess FnF yesterday and took a look at the results today. I like it. The coverage was more uniform and the sanding needed much lighter.

Thanks!

Hans,

I made this post a sticky since there is so much good info at your site to help newbies, BAR's and AAR's alike.
