Default Aerotech Initiator CA or expoxy launch lug

Would CA be strong enough for the launch lug. It's a bigger rocket than I'm used to flying so I wasn't sure if I should go with expoxy. (Or if the bonding is different for this kind of rocket.)

IMO epoxy. A high quality 15 or 30 minute cure epoxy. It won’t get brittle like CA can.

I sand the base of the plastic launch lug and then use Medium CA to attach it to the body tube. This has never been an issue in the over thirty years I have built and flown Initiator models.

Trust me, I wrote the instructions.

I've used medium CA on all the AT kits I've built, and it's a bunch. I've had lawn darts, core-samples, rocket-eating trees, CATOS, snapped fins in winter, marsh landings, and flights that drifted away, but never a glue joint failure. Oh, and I've had plenty of successful flights too, though I'm down to a single built kit currently.
