What is Special About this Rocket? (20 Questions)
Here's a challenge ... try to figure out what is special about the rocket pictured below. I'll answer "Yes"/"No" questions only.
I'll start .... Is the rocket a kit? No. Is the rocket scratch built? Yes. -- Roger Last edited by jadebox : 09-18-2009 at 08:10 AM. |

Darn you beat me to it MarkII http://www.spacemodeling.org/JimZ/eirp_06.htm . Ok here's my question: If it's not the Dirty Bird III, was the Dirty Bird III the inspiration for your scratch build?

Does it have one of those old fireworks type plastic spin fin units? Looks too short for a Dirty Bird. Plus, the there's no discernible hub at the top of the fin unit. Everything is flush, which is why I asked if it has a plastic fin unit. It could very well be balsa/basswood fins with the fins and bottom section painted to look like a plastic fin unit.
