Default Complex tube in a tube?

Is it possible for rocsim to handle an internal tube (i.e. motor mount tube) that also has paper transitions and another diameter tube at the opposite end?
Then this 'hourglass' shape mmt tube would be put inside another larger tube.

Is it possible in the first place?
Would it require the latest version?
Can it be saved as a sub-assembly?

Imagine the estes Ramjet kit bit with the hour-glass shape to the internal tube.

Chris,

Examine the test file below. It may not be exactly what you had in mind, but I think it answers the basic question of "tubes within transitions within tubes", and how to get there from here...

The short answer is "yes", using V9. It will require the 'pods' feature to create the effect. Subassemblies are not as sophisticated, and have greater limitations. A pod is a subassembly on steroids, but does not yet have the ability to be saved as a separate item. That would be a nice feature, though...

I cleaned up the drawing of the ramjet scale data I'm working on.
The aspect ratio of the drawing is slightly off given the data provided.

Data:

Ramjet Missile overall length 135"
Inlet diameter 18"
Base diameter 22.1"
Maximum fin span 44.5"

There is also a Terrier (aka STANDARD) looking booster suggested with the same 22.1" diameter and a length of slightly more than 8'.

Total weapon length approx 20'.

My thoughts were to mount a sustainer engine where the ramjet interior narrows down, and use the expansion portion as an exhaust nozzle cone with a wrap of muffler tape for protection from damage.

A few holes punched thru the the top of the nozzle cone would allow the rammed air to flow thru and prevent any krushnick effect from the motor being placed so high up inside the cone.

It might even make a cool sound as well.

Can anyone manipulate the drawing to stretch it to the correct proportions of 135" x 22.1"?
