Default Mars Snooper critically injured in ballistic crash!!!!

Yes fellow rocketeers it is with sad heart I have to announce the wreckage of my beloved Mars Snooper. I flew it today at the NEFAR launch at Clegg's Sod Farm in Bunnell, FL. Needlees to say with the wind and the wrong motor selection, It crashed into the ground. The nose cone was in the ground the whole thing. Selected by me no less LOL, I flew it on a D12-5, the 5 was the problem. Pictures to be posted when they get to me by email. It was in six pieces. I can rebuild it though. A few couplers some bbody tubes, glue and paint it will be new. I was gonna put the deacals on it last week, glad I did not! SO I will post the repair thread somewhere on this site. Which catagory is repairs under? Projects I guess. Will keep you all posted.

Sounds like a zip lock bag would be more appropriate.

I'm uploading some photos to RocketReviews.com right now. I'll post a photo or two and links in a little while.

BTW, it was a terrible, terrible sight. Women, children, and the feint of heart should not view these photos. If you have a heart condition you are advised to see a doctor before looking at the photographs. If you are under 21 years of age or over 18 years of age, you should not view these images.

Oh, that is such a priceless photo! It's as if the old bald guy is saying, "don't even THINK about taking a (expletive) picture of this."

Gold! Solid gold!

p.s. What's the chrome umbilical cord thingy?
