Default Good news for Dr Zooch fans.

Good news for DR Zooch fans.

eRockets and Dr Zooch are proud to announce that eRockets will be manufacturing some of the Dr Zooch Kits for them. The kits will have the same fantastic instructions written by the mad Dr Zooch along with modern manufacturing that produces some of the best kits on the market today. This is a great partnership as parts for kits will now include laser cut materials to make the assembly easier and more detailed. The Falcon Heavy is the first kit to be re-engineered and released. Now featuring laser cut shroud, feet covers and flame fins. The nose cones have also been tweaked to be more realistic.

Next up - just in time for those who missed out on the BMS/Alway version - is the Saturn V. Wish I didn’t already have one in work and a couple or three more stashed away...

Given that some of you seem to be in the know : are these likely to be released on a drip feed? As in, a batch of these, then a batch of those, and so on? Or once produced, will they be a regular stocked item?

The main reason I never bought any Zooch kits was that no retailer ever had everything I wanted in stock at the same time. Due to the silly shipping costs to Australia, I tend to buy things in batches so that the shipping per kit is somewhat less overall.

Wow!

So when the Saturn Ib is re-released, I can buy two and turn the second one into the VERY intriguing BT-80 Saturn V from the other tread. eRockets has the "correctly sized" S-II to S-IVb transition in the old Semroc Nose Cone designer; I did it myself when that was still functional.

And of course, I'm looking forward to the various Zooch R-7 rockets.

Great news - I hope the Saturn 1 SA-5 will be on the list.
