Default PDRocketry Is Moving

Just a quick note to let you guys know PDRocketry is moving and will be down for a few months. Word is that Eric is relocating from California to Virginia. His son will be handling
the primary operations of the company while Eric will concentrate on the designing and
making of the kits. A new or updated website and blog should be in the works. Just give
them some time and once things are back up to speed, I'll let you know.

Race58, I'll see what I can do. The more recent postings to The Rocketry Forum link you
provided is pretty much all I know (to date). I'm hoping things will fall into place and get
back up to speed as I'd like to buy some more kits from them, too, but like most everyone
else, I need to see proof that PDRocketry is back to normal first.

Sorry that I can't be more encouraging, but it's the best I can do from here.

I had their Andromeda on my Christmas list. My son tried to order it and their grocery cart did not work and when he emailed them, their mail box is full. They should have posted something on their web page indicating their plans.

I have built several PD Rocketry kits in the past and their kits have been top-notch right up there with Semroc kits.
Eric and Caleb have been great to deal with in the past.
If I had one negative comment about PDR it is that their website has left a LOT to be desired...definitely nothing negative about their products.
Hopefully they will be up and running full-force very soon.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I've been pushing for this for much of the year, and I think in time Eric and Caleb will get
their stuff together and be back up to speed. They'll probably also redo their blog forum,
which needs a good overhaul anyway.

Since I got a lot of models awaiting assembly and flight, I'm in no real hurry right now. As
some of you know, Eric has had a rough year and needs a fresh start. As you've said, their
kits are top notch and I have quite a few on my "must have" list.

I was about to order their Starfighter Combo Pak, a Thor Agena-B, and a Titan III from them and then I heard about their production problems due to Eric's health....once they get running again I will.

I'd just order the Thor-Agena parts from Semroc. The PDR Thor Agena does not use BT-52 as it should. (At least it didn't about a year ago.) Carl has just about all the parts, in the correct size, except for the plastic for making the slip-on fins. Who knows, maybe Carl has the plastic now as well.

they need to take care of the people who they owe money first and foremost..as far as I know there has been no attenpt to rectify these situations, and no communication whatsoever. restarting the business, fixing the blog, or tweaking the website should not be the priority on their minds right now...
