Default estes interceptor nose?

got to wondering, how many kits used (or appear to use) the nose cone from the interceptor? I've done a little checking and found what appear to be 3 rockets that used this nose; USS Pleiades, Vindicator, and of course the interceptor...were there any I missed? thanks,
Rex

I think the "Cosmic Interceptor" I'm currently building uses it as well.

those lists did indeed help, a grand total of 3 kits used that nose.
Chad:
spose I should have been a bit more specific...was asking about the 18mm version. I'll grant you that 'Vindicator-E' does have a certain ring to it...it might pose a bigger challenge to make than cloning the 18mm(haven't decided about 24 yet) version .

IIRC, the modern Interceptor re-release uses a newly made mold which has some differences when compared to the classic version. In software terms, I guess it's the 2.0 version.

I'd be willing to wager that the vindicator/uss pleiades used the same blow molded nose as the 'new' interceptor .

No, I think they were from the old blow mold (there was also an injection molded Interceptor cone early on). Those kits came out in the 80's. I believe that the classic Interceptor re-release and the Cosmic Interceptor are from a brand new mold.

The Dark Energy kit is also from a new mold, based on the old Odyssey and Rigel 3 (PNC-55CB) nose cone.

I have a feeling that, the differences might only be known to rivet counters and or we may never know for sure...what I have on hand is a spare nose from a modern interceptor, should I clone a vindicator, that is what I'll use .

I don't recall what differences there might be on the Interceptor cone, which is why I'm not 100% sure that the current one is from a new mold. I do recall John Boren telling us that we would notice some differences on the Odyssey cone, so I am 100% sure it is from a new mold.
