Default Fliskits out of business

Since I somehow missed this announcement, I missed the opportunity to purchase a acme spitfire. Can someone please share with me instructions, plans, scans so that I may clone this kit. I have the following kits I have purchased that I can share scans from fr003,006,008,009, m5003, and shx01.

Please don't share the Shrox plans.

You designed the Fliskits A.C.M.E. Spitfire?

Nevermind. I see the last product number on his post.

I just noticed and edited my post. I was getting a little confused there for a minute.

Rumor is that erockets will be producing some of the more popular Fliskit designs in the near future, under license. Similar to the arrangement with the Dr. Zooch kits. I'm guessing the Acme Spitfire MIGHT be one of them.

I will honor your wish Shrox. I also have the uffo kit but haven't even opened it yet to scan the instructions. I'm sure I could probably work out the centering ring pattern on the spitfire, I just need to know a couple of things. What size is the outer bt and what size the inner stuffer/engine tube? Fortunately as of right now the spitfire skins are still available for download.

I don't think it's revealing any trade secrets to say that the inner/motor tube is a long length of BT-50 and the outer tube is BT70.

Ok I am able to get started cloning the acme spitfire pretty Ok, but I have been unable to gleen these items. 1 What is the longest or shortest length of section 1 ? it appears to be that the shortest length is the same as the transition height. 2 What is the Length of the BT 50 ? 3 What is the weight of the clay at the top ? 4 do the transitions between the sections sit at an angle also ? This should be a fun puzzle to reverse engineer otherwise.

That's great news, erockets has done an amazing job keeping Semroc's kits & parts going, I bet that Randy Boadway will be able to do the best of the Fliskits line the same way & have them in production asap. I think that the Acme Spitfire is one of the most innovative kits ever produced & very fun to build.
Attached is a pic of my spitfire ready to fly at Naram 60 in August, the yellow fin was signed by Jim Flis at Naram 50 back in 2008.
