Mike, I know what you meant about the one on the right, the strake angles were a tradeoff, I was trying to keep surface area large enough for the weight, since it is flying nicely I can experiment with trimming the angle a bit, but I think it looks worse at the camera angle than in flight...

I'm having fun at least and if anyone gets motivated to try something that's all the better.

Here are some flights on all three today plus my profile kit version, with an unfortunate cato of a quest D-5 motor in the prifile at the end, kit was flyable, and was flown afterward, but will need major cosmetic fixing ahead of the motor mount.
