A "platform" is glued between the tubes on the top side. The completed canopy is shown next to the body.

And a few more "engine pieces" to glue on the rear. Needed to trim some to fit into the body tube. Despite having a total of 6 (3 per side), it went rather quickly with the double glue method (minimum dry time between pieces)

Glued the canopy on.
Also wanted to show the display nose gear in place. Added the clay weight to the nose cones and glued in place |

Spent a few days fixing fillets, priming, fixing, priming, then trying to do multiple light coats.
Getting spray paint into all those nooks and crannies without runs....well, one or two. I did revert back to some old Krylon cans I had so I would not have to worry about recoat times |
