Now I get it. Googling Jeff's clue, I found this to explain it. One of these days, I'm gonna rent that danged movie so I'm not so clueless Seems there are still a few classics not in my repertoire But I know a few folks who have all the dialogue from the entire movie committed to memory. Doug .

Ni!
I saw it in the theater with my sister and father the day after it was released. Bought the DVD recently and looking forward to watching it. * * * I do hope that Estes does some interesting big-end kits. Either the Maxi-Brutes, or other models that use large plastic cones & fins. Estes can afford the up-front costs for molds and such. |

Two requirements, though: 1. They make the rocket stable in flight. 2. They don't look hideous.

You haven't seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail? I thought that was a graduation prerequisite for any high school class after 1975 or so. I got into Monty Python because I asked my Dad what it was while reading TV Guide one night, and he told me it was something I shouldn't be watching. Not only did I watch it, I got my little brother watching it with me.

The first three or four times I saw it, it was on TV. Saw it on VHS a couple of times, then finally at a proper theater in about 1983/84. (A place in Cincinnati called Moviola. They showed foreign films and little known classics.) I was there with a friend, two of about 10 people in the whole place, and one of the Python geeks purposely sat behind us so he could "impress" us by reciting the opening credits before they showed on the screen. Dingle turned to me and said "I'll let you handle this." I asked him nicely to move. He didn't and kept reciting. I threatened him with very real bodily harm. He moved and found another group to annoy. They went and got the manager and had the guy removed. I understand not having something to do on Saturday night. I'v been there. Never did I think it would be a good idea to pay money to bug somebody else. Unless they wanted to be bugged.

I'm not proud of this, but I haven't seen even one minute of The Life of Brian.
