Default Wolverine RC RG

I wanted to do a slightly different take on my Mach 10 based Mach 2 RC Rocket glider, but do a few changes based on what I had learned while kitting that model. I wanted to use a longer, smaller 3" tube, move the wing to the middle of the tube and drop the T tail and make it look more like the old estes Wolverine rocket that I loved as a kid. With the wing through the middle of the tube, I was able to get rid of the keel I had on the Mach 2 since the servos were up higher, and I was able to offset the rail buttons so that they weren't on the bottom. I had Mark at stickershock scale up a portion his wolverine decals and add the speed brakes and canopy from my Mach 2 kit. Wingspan is 32", weight is right at 10.75 oz rtf. Not sure when I can maiden it since we just had a cold snap.

Well it was 35 degrees and windy, but got three flights in. cg was perfect, needed about
1/8" of downtrim for boost but otherwise very nice flying model, handled the wind nicely.

Here is a video I made assembling the second prototype so you can see how easily it goes together.

Here's the video from this morning, it was raining a bit, buy my daughter held the umbrella and video taped and I flew, second flight, I had a bit too much tape holding the igniter in and it yanked the controller wires with it for the first 20 feet

Frank, really nice. What were the long burn engines that you used?

The motors are the Aerotech 24mm e-6rc motor, an endburning blue thunder, I carry them.
