I'm sure there are others that will be there competing that don't visit forums or FaceBook

In my best Spock impersonation, including one arched eyebrow:

"Fascinating."

I think up-scaling the Boost-Glider version of the Estes BOMARC to 38mm "J" power and ejecting the pod just like the smaller version would be cool.
R/C glide recovery, needless to say.
Better yet would be upscaling the Centuri Argus and flying in a SCALE fashion (1st stage vertically upward, 2nd and 3rd stages vertically DOWNWARD for a max-velocity impact with terra-firma).
Deliberately deceive the RSO as to what engines are in each stage.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I did a 3" dia. upscale of the Estes Scissor Wing Transport 20+ odd years ago. I flew it on a I 282 or something similar. It was not RC. All I can say is to keep the weight down as much as possible. My Scissor Wing flew like a brick.

John,

Check out the cockpit lighting, particularly the pilot's display, on this Viper.
