Got an EXCELLENT suggestion over on TRF that I want to share here.

I have found the best fix for this is as follows:

3M makes 1" wide Velcro with adhesive on the back side. You only need the soft "fuzzy" part, not the hard "hook" part.

Clean off all of the old foam and adhesive from the pressure plate and main Cineroc camera body tab.

Cut 2 pieces of the fuzzy Velcro, one to fit the Cineroc body tab, and the 2nd to fit the back of the pressure plate. The piece for the pressure plate needs to be slimmer, so it doesn't cover the part of the pressure plate that is cut out to make room for the film pull down claw.

This gives the proper fit and snugness to the pressure plate.

Nice job on your Omega.

There's photos too, but I couldn't get them to post here.

Pointy Side Up!

Why is that?? When I do build threads, I typically make the original posts to TRF and upload the photos there, since their upload feature seems to resize them within the file size limits of the site automatically. Then I bring the pics up one by one individually (clicking on the pic will bring up the "pop-up viewer" and then clicking the pic in the pop up viewer will open it full-size, OR you can right-click it to get the pop up menu with "open in a new tab" and left-click that for each pic as you sift through them. Once open in new tabs (or enlarged to full size), I right-click on the pic to open up the pop up menu and left click "save picture as" to save it to my pictures folder on my computer, repeat this for all the photos, usually adding an "r" to the end of the pic file name in the "save as" box (where you choose what folder to save it in)... ("r" for "resized"). Then I highlight the text of the post and right-click to get the pop up menu, left click "copy" and then open YORF in another tab and create the new thread here, right click to get the pop up menu and click "paste" in the text box to copy over the dialog of the post, and then hit "manage attachments" and then upload the RESIZED photos I downloaded from TRF here... remember that if you do them all at once, they come through in some helter-skelter order, so I generally do them one at a time (click "browse" in one box, select the pic I want to upload, then click "upload" so that they are in the right order and remain so...

That's how I do the pic-heavy posts of the "study summaries" over in the scale section as well...

Later! OL JR

The photos were from someone else's thread, I was tired, and I didn't have the time to download/upload them.
