Jay-

Is the Labor Day (September 1) targeted launch date still on schedule or has that possibly slipped a bit? Looks like you all have done a ton of work the past couple months.

Wow, seems just like 40 years ago...geez, seems almost impossible that the summer of '74 has been 40 years ago as we anxiously awaited Evel's launch attempt across the river. Whoever first said "time flies" knew very well of which they spoke.

Earl,

You may have missed this little snippet buried in those last few articles:

Not as of late last week. It would be great to get a specific date nailed down, so we could begin promoting it adequately, if nothing else.

Thanks for your questions!

Cheers,

What I want to know is whether you guys will be releasing a scale data packet for those of us who want to downscale that...or better yet, sell a kit.

: countdown begin cr dup . 1- ?dup 0= until cr ." Launch!" cr ;

Give a man a rocket and he will fly for a day; teach him to build and he will spend the rest of his days sanding...

I hope this one flies MUCH better than the original attempt by Evel back in '74.

And NO premature YANKIN' THE LEEVER.....just joking.

I'm sure with all the "Pro's" involved in this it will be a great success.
Too bad Evel won't be around to see it.
Is his son planning to attend the launch ?

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

Jay,

Have you thought about just doing a live stream over the internet? You could try getting a Twitch account, then just post the channel info and the date/time.

There's a group that's doing a documentary film on it, which we hope will be shown worldwide. We had ideally hoped to film the build while we did it, but didn't manage to capture all of the steps.

Cheers,
