Default Anyone tried the Marco Polo recovery device

Greetings all..

Has anyone tried the Marco Polo recovery device for rocketry yet? I'd like a little input from people who might have used it already.

Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried it, looks like an expensive pet tracking device. Have you considered Tile or TrackR? Both use your smart phone to locate the object, and they are much more affordable. I use Tile, have one with my car keys, house keys, wallet, and cell phone. Easily fits inside a 1.9" dia. tube, if your rocket lands in tall grass or a cornfield, you can activate an audio chime and home in on your bird. I'm at the age where I'm starting to misplace things. This is a godsend. Only downside is the battery lasts for a year and is non replaceable, so you have to buy a new unit. But since they are so affordable, that's no problem for me. Or you can go with TrackR, which is slightly more expensive, but has a replaceable battery.
