Take a look at the Estes Air Commander as well. It's booster and sustainer fins, while not exactly like the Centaur's, are close enough that there's no mistaking where they came from. Centuri had some handsome shapes and I think the Centaur is one of the nicest.

Thanks and yes, it's Createx "Pearlescent Silver," if I'm not mistaken.

Nice work Wolfram, I really like this old Centuri design; Papering the fins seems to be the right idea, especially for the tumbling booster. I like picking paint schemes from old catalogs, though the Semroc Cover art is nice too, especially the roll pattern. Alternating colors on booster fins always helps see where they tumble down.

ARGHHH!

The files for the Centaur have disappeared from the JimZ site.

I was finally getting around to working on my upscale, and was hoping to download the fin pattern and upscale them.

Just noticed this thread.
Quick tip for avoiding payload-rebound into fins, etc.
Go with two-piece recovery.
Whenever I have a payloader with the payload larger than BT-50 size, I use one chute for the payload and one for the main tube/fins so they separate at ejection.
I HATE damage that can be easily avoided.
It complicates recovery, but assures no damage from the evil SNAPP-BAKK.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

The whole site is wonky. Hopefully just a temporary status.
