Exclamation Vern Estes Website

After years of total stagnation the Vern Estes Website has finally been updated.

Looks rather amature like but atleast something is happening

This is a great event. I had visited Vern and Gleda back in April and we talked about his book, at that time, he said that he had only three chapters done and that he needed to complete the book.

This will be an exciting event when the book is complete.

Thank you Vern !!!!!

He told me he liked the photo of the boy with the Big Bertha so much that he added it to the background. Chas Russell had forwarded it to him.

He also said that he had added the three part installment from the SR article "in case I had not read it." (Not but about five times.) I told him it was a great idea to get it on his site because the number of people that would read it over the years would far exceed the SR audience.

Thanks again to Tom for getting that piece of history for all of us!

Thumbs up

The three part installment from the SR was complete new to me.

Excellent reading that one however would expect to read in Launch magazine

I quickly saved the files before they get lost somewhere

Wow - Vern's been working on that book for 10 years or more! I just hope we do get to see it.

I'm sure that Vern will finish the book soon, he realizes that everyone in the rocketry community is looking forward to it.

I already sent Vern an e-mail earlier today when I saw the first couple of posts in this thread.
