Lightbulb Handy Reference: Semroc's old body tube product list.

The old (Post-Carl, Pre-Randy) body tube list of products from Semroc is a potentially useful resource giving you not just Estes body tube sizes, but Centuri's as well. The list has thinned since the change of hands, but I managed to download the list before the change of ownership.

So, for those who could use it, I've converted it into an Excel Workbook file, and attached it here.

Share And Enjoy!

And I reconverted it to a Google Sheets document, for anyone who prefers that:

Thanks!

I posted this years ago... guess good ideas just keep cropping up...

It's an integrated list of everything that *I* have in my references, from smallest tube size to largest. The second one is an upscaling/downscaling chart using available tube sizes.

It's still up on the old SEMROC website, as are all the other part references we use for old rockets.

Odd... When I checked it the other day, it looked like the number of offerings for the BT-50 sized tubes had declined. In re-checking, they still have the same number of offerings.

Well, having the list is still handy in the event that a server crashes.

Definitely. In fact, I archived the whole website when I learned that Cheryl put it up for sale.

I miss all the nose cone outline pictures. The last time I looked, it seemed like only the ones in stock were shown.

I got 'em, I just have no idea how to share 'em (nor how useful they would be anyway).

Has anyone heard how much of the original Semroc parts catalog will continue to be offered? I did order quite a few body tubes in the past, but the real goldmine, at least for me, was being able to get darned-near any "common profile" nose cone I wanted, and often for a number of tube sizes.

Guess if the huge nose cone selection does not continue, I do have a backup -- my lathe.
I've made a few nose cones, intakes, exhausts, etc. but it is nice to just order what you need if readily available. I've mostly used my lathe for producing very custom parts.
