Default First keychain cam launches

I picked up a keychain camera via Ebay a few weeks back. It arrived from Hong Kong after I flew on Memorial Day weekend, so I've been itching to give it a try ever since. Went up to B6-4 Field tonight with a fistful of B6-4 and my Holversone Wicked Winnie and flew it four times. On three of those I managed to remember to turn the camera on.
Anyway, the first flight is available for your viewing pleasure via YouTube. Enjoy. Stop and say hi.

There are still two more movies downloading. If I remember right, the second one was positioned looking up the rocket toward the nose cone. The third was positioned sideways to give a bit of a different perspective. I'll post them when they finish.

I noticed that. If I had ANY idea how, I'd do it.

BTW, this one was the worst flight of the three. The third one hit the road, so that could be interesting.

This site helped me with mine - 1st identify your camera type, then follow the setting time instructions for that type.

Keychain cam info

Thanks for the link. That'll have to be a project for this weekend. Did you do any flights with yours yet?

Looked like the engine was still burning when it nosed over!

Unless you did some editing, it seemed like a short ride back to the ground...

Probably better off with the B6-2 on this one. The shortened recovery was natural, likely caused by the parachute acting as a streamer. Forgot to unfurl it before I packed it. The other two videos are screwed up. Not only are the flights captured in very odd orientations, you also get to hear me braying on about our town with the mother of the kid who came over to help me launch.

Those little cameras are addictive, aren't they? I've got a couple of chewing gum pack sized cameras and a key chain camera and have several flights with them. I've reworked my Cineroc Omega clone to use the gum cam instead of the old TV transmitter unit. I need to get to a larger field to fly it sometime.
