I'm basically doing the same for my 1/70 Saturn 1-B; using card stock nozzles (H1) for both
display and flight. For flight, I'm just using the outer four nozzles with the central unit open for the four engine cluster. These card stock nozzles are useful for the SEMROC (or, if you have one, the Estes K-29) 1/70 Saturn 1-B kits (which, as you know, doesn't come with any scale display nozzles).

I have a question reguarding the transitions on this thing. The card stock they used is glossy on the outside, will it take CA easily to harden it?

The nozzles I made for the Saturn 1-B are pretty solid "as is." I didn't add any CA or anything like that to harden it. Since most computer printers use ink jet process, I'd be afraid to apply any moisture to the printed details as the moisture may smear the print itself. In fact, I've really never tried applying CA for this purpose, so maybe someone in this forum has and can chime in their experiences.

CA will not smear the ink, but it will impart a haze (and often a bit of crust) to the image. If I want to use CA to stiffen a printed shroud, I apply it on an unprinted copy of the shroud and sand it smooth. (CA also makes cardstock sandable.) Then I glue the printed shroud over the CA-stiffened one. You just have to size the inner shroud so that the printed one fits over it. MarkII

Here is where I am at right now. I have to fill seams and build the escape tower and paint. I have four F-1 motors mounted around the 18mm motor tubes and the 24mm in the center bare. I did some re-enforcing here and there also. I will get a close up of the motors with the F-1's fitted around them after while and post them, but here is the motor mount, the baffle I built, the aft end as I was adding the fairings and fins, and then as it sits now.
